At the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN this past weekend, Amaya finished 12th in the all-around with a 37.450 out of 56 gymnasts! She also placed sixth on uneven bars with a 9.500 and 11th on vault scoring a 9.475. Congratulations Amaya.

Amaya competed at the Region 8 Championships today where she placed fifth in the all-around in the Senior A session, qualifying to the Junior Olympic Nationals in Indianapolis, IN next month. She also finished fourth on vault with a 9.525, sixth on uneven bars with a 9.500 and eighth on floor exercise with a 9.450. Good job Amaya!

At the Level 10 State Championships this past weekend, Amaya finished first in the all-around with a 38.375! She also placed first on balance beam with a 9.625, second on vault and floor exercise scoring a 9.650 and 9.575 respectively and fifth on uneven bars with a 9.525. Amaya qualified to the Region 8 Championships in Georgia next month. Good job Amaya.

Today at the Greensboro Invitational in Greensboro, NC, Amaya finished first in the all-around with a 38.375! She also placed first on uneven bars and balance beam scoring a 9.575 and 9.625 respectively, second on vault with a 9.750 and fourth on floor exercise scoring a 9.425. Good job Amaya!
